Galvanized steel sheets are coated with zinc to improve corrosion resistance and extend service life in demanding environments. In the production of G60 galvanized steel sheet, the steel is coated with molten zinc during a continuous galvanizing process. As the steel moves through the production line at high speed, excess zinc is removed using high-pressure air knives to achieve the required coating thickness and maintain a uniform surface finish.
