Similar to seamless tubing, welded tubing is widely available in long continuous lengths and can be supplied in standard sizes with comparable production lead times.

In some smaller manufacturing projects, the higher cost of seamless tubing may be balanced out when only limited quantities are needed. However, although custom-sized seamless tubing can often be produced and delivered faster, it generally involves higher manufacturing costs. For this reason, welded tubing is usually preferred for cost-sensitive applications, while seamless tubing is selected for projects requiring enhanced strength or performance.
