2507 Stainless Steel is a super duplex stainless steel containing approximately 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel. Due to its high chromium and molybdenum content, 2507 stainless steel offers exceptionally strong resistance to corrosion caused by a wide range of acidic environments. Its duplex microstructure also provides outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking, making it highly reliable in demanding applications.
In chloride-containing environments, where corrosion and cracking are common concerns, 2507 stainless steel demonstrates excellent durability and stability. This superior resistance makes it particularly suitable for use in construction, marine engineering, and other industries exposed to harsh conditions.
